It comes with the remote and I added a FM antenna. It worked great for watching TV and listening to music and watching movies. I had a powered sub woofer hooked up with two small Sony bookshelf speakers and that worked great for me. I used it for a front room stereo and for TV.
It has a lot of features that I never used and never needed too. I am downsizing my electronics. It does have scratches, scrapes and nicks from being moved and shelved.
Used Yamaha rx v740. I did not use it for surround sound since I have a small living room.
