Dead quiet background, jaw dropping dynamics and an overall control over my speaker drivers that I have not heard equaled before. Yamaha rx z9 a v receiver for your consideration is a used, but damaged Yamaha rx z9 a v receiver. I have tried to describe the condition of the rx z9 as accurately as possible as well as take several hi res photos which can be seen below.

The front access door is tricky to open shut, but stays in place in either position. I played music of all genres for about an hour and was hit by goosebumps on several of my favorite tracks.

Just before this posting, I tested the unit in 'pure direct' mode with my 2 channel stereo set up and the performance was flawless. The receiver comes only with the pictured remote and power cord.

The on standby button does not depress fully and the volume control knob has some slight resistance in certain positions but both function adequately. Of course, this is my opinion only of being in this hobby for ten years.
