Details:
The battery compartment has some corrosion. It has a battery operated memory backup. I played a CD player through it and well.
If I were keeping this unit would just remove the battery compartment or clean it but have no use for memory backup on a receiver. There are a few smudges on the cabinet but no scratches. That was the extent of my testing. See the last photo.
From a local estate is this early 80s receiver. So nice receiver and amp. 50 watts per channel. In testing it played great on am and fm channels.
