Details:

You are buying on a Pioneer SX-636 receiver. This item is a great survivor for its age, but it not perfect nor mint. This unit is decades old, and although well built, all vintage units are susceptible to breakdowns. Shipping costs have gone up and I pack with care so it is not cheap.

The photos are a big part of. The tuning needle has a new incandescent light as no led was available. The other issue is that as a vintage receiver, it needs some cleaning of pots and or switches.

I gave it a cleaning and everything works, but still have to cycle the aux switch when acts up. Shipping only to the contiguous us. They are not easy to spot, but there. If displayed within a cabinet, these will not be visible.

I'm providing 12 pictures for you to determine cosmetics. Tape outputs and phono were not tested as I own neither a cassette nor turntable. My written is complementary to the photos. The face is beautiful including knobs and switches.

The receiver powers on, works as designed and was partially tested. There are two issues: I repaired the needle. Lights on the meters were not changed as they work great.

See pictures for further. My is meant to give you a good idea of what are getting and work may need do.

All inputs were tested and are working. There are 3 hairline scratches on top of cabinet and two large faint marks. This repair must be considered temporary although I expect it will last for the life of receiver. I do not have time to give the receiver a second round of cleaning.

I replaced bad original bulbs with led for the tuning dial.
