It has some headroom, too, able to produce 100 watts into 4 ohm loads percent and the damping factor is a robust 50 at 8 ohms. No scratchiness in the controls, it plays clean and clear at 60 watts per channel RMS into 8 ohms has ample power for most home users. It sounds and works great. As an es model this was part of Sony's flagship line in i've tested all functions including the phono section.

This Sony is in almost perfect condition. Although it is not a classic silver face receiver pre v and extremely friendly to use. Harmonic distortion is a minuscule.
