With out all that nonsense on the front panel. FedEx ground shipping is can't beat the sound of one these for what they cost. Many of us audiophiles did not care for.

Display is nice and sharp clear on FM. I can verify they easily work the volume and power on these. Balance knob while the exact size reads upside down.

Probably was replaced at one point. Now you see Yamaha making nice 2 channel 50 to 100 watt amps with phono. 95 to the USA lower 48 states only. To get equal sound now in a Yamaha 2 channel integrated or receiver you would spend 499 so new.

I have the 60 wpc version of this unit in my own system for 10 years. Yamaha r channel stereo receiver. Not one of those giant ht do-dad 7 channel receivers with no phono section.

Did have phono. Silver faces. 45 watts per channel Thad. 04 damping factor of 80 Sn ration 82 db 105 line channel separation 60 2 audiophile quality am FM receiver.

There might be a very select few large ht receivers that did have the right sound. Our experience is the older 2 channel receivers like this one. There are no antennas included.mm phono section.

Thumbs up to them for that 2 channel series of amps. Works great but it does show some wear on the top case and front left edge has marks. It was a era of video. Avg wear elsewhere on face.

Having a more purist approach to the sound quality. This one sounds tonally just the same.

I can't say enough how sweet this series of receivers sound from time period. The sound is over all superior to those ht units in most cases, even considering less wattage. Like they used to make years ago or closer that quality.

Would not sell it for even 250 people have commented over the years just how nice my system sounds using a similar receiver to this. But more often less than so in our experience.
