If you ever wanted to test out quad or have one in your collection, this is a beautiful candidate. All knobs and switches have been cleaned lubricated so no scratching or pops. Works and you don't need a replacement, but if want the real power cord, it does not come with this unit. I tested all the inputs and outputs with CD DVD, phono, tape drive - working well.

Specifications tuning range: FM, MW power output: 23w ch into quadraphonic frequency response: 30hz to 30khz total harmonic distortion. The case is in excellent condition, all features and functions work well. One thing - it take a special square end power cord which got lost, but is available on. Regardless, this thing is unbelievable in its performance.

I fashioned a working power cord, by shaping the end of like cord so it fits. It also has complete provisions for reproducing discrete 4-channel sources. Incorporating the widely acknowledged Sansui Sq regular matrix system, it features exclusive Dario-matrix circuit, which 1 decodes encoded 4-channel program sources back into and 2 transforms synthesises conventional 2-channel. This receiver has been in my studio for testing and I am completely blow away at the incredible clean power it puts out all 4 channels.

I am only parting with it as have to downsize collection due move. The QRX-4500 is a 240 watt 4-channel receiver endowed with practically all features necessary for enjoying every type of music in new, enthralling format.
