This unit is being sold as-is, for parts or repair. It works, it just doesn't work right. Looking down on the top of it, I can see some dust through vents. Also, it makes a noise when spinning the disc.
Also, there is a small dent on the top and rust bottom of unit, both shown in photos. I don't know exactly what it will take to fix the cd player, although wouldn't imagine would be a hard based on how works now. Sometimes a track on cd will play smoothly, but most of the time it skips.
