It looks to be in very good shape cosmetically. I do see one very small scratch on the top. I can't tell you much about this receiver except it was my fathers before he passed and he was very picky about his stereo equipment.
I have not tested the surround sound function as I do not have any of the other equipment. This receiver is being sold as is. I don't have all the equipment to test it but I can say that it did work through my little speakers and CD player.
