When plugged in none of the buttons and unit lights are responsive. Edison party system L5500 stereo receiver comes as shown and has been tested for power. I am not familiar with these receivers and do know if it is suppose to function stand alone or will need be plugged into something for the buttons/lights responsive. Selling as is and shown for parts this reason.

Unit does charge your phone so that function appears to be working. Just shows what is seen in the photos when turned on.
