I do not have the original remote but a cable satellite or universal probably could be programmed for the volume and such. The tuner gets good reception and it has several sound modes including 5 channel stereo. Very nice Yamaha htr.

It has hdmi inputs for video and coaxial optical digital inputs for audio. It has a b speaker switching so it'll power 2 sets of main speakers together or separately. Ill include a cord you can use with your iPod, mp3, phone etc. Also has several analog inputs including a front input watt hdmi receiver.
