Overall it makes for a Great vintage presentation piece your stereo or recording studio. Cosmetically the deck is in really nice shape, better than many that we get through here.

All dial lights work, as do the pause button and other features of deck. This deck needed some work to bring it up snuff. Up for your consideration is a really nice teac channel 4 track reel to tape deck.

All controls and switches were cleaned with exit cleaner, the good stuff, heads tape path as well. Its the semi-pro version of this series decks, 4 track, with and 15 UPS, meaning it will play most consumer tapes high speed is Great for mastering in a home recording studio, to get that warm analog sound.

It needed a tiny bit of tweaking to bring both channels even output, and we tweaked the bias eq slightly frequency response 20khz at speeds, so you're good for many years life out this deck.

As with all teac, the main drive belt was replaced, originals will stretch over time. Its a fantastic deck to play prerecorded tapes on, especially the hard find 4 channel ones.

The deck comes with a metal makeup reel and original nab teac hubs, of tape is not included.
