The top of the unit had a number some sort etched into it by original owner. See photos, NO original packaging, manuals, or other accessories included, Feel free to message with any questions related this listing. Physical condition: Unit is in pretty good physical condition overall with relatively little damage to the unit. I cleaned the pots using exit and didn't find any of them to have noise after that.

Vintage Sony model STR-4800SD AM/FM Stereo Receiver TESTED, Tested Working: Unit powers on and works great. I ran the receiver for about an hour to make sure it wan't going blow up and was fine. The tuner worked great on both AM and FM, the signal FM tuning meter moved functioned correctly. All pots/knobs, switches, and buttons worked great.

The front face is clean on the metal and glass, with a couple small scratches knobs. The lights on the unit mostly worked, with only issue in that regard I noticed was Dolby FM and Stereo light never turned on, although those functions still worked fine. All input and outputs were tested, including using a turntable on the phono. The light on the main section of tuner was also a little dim, but red needle nice and bright.

I got a clean audio output out of all 4 speaker outputs and had no issues with the unit. The wood veneer has some minor damage/pealing in places, but nothing too major.
