My visual inspection discovered no reason not to continue so I plugged it in. I took off the case before ever plugging it in just to make sure anything didn't look obviously wrong. The wood case is in pretty nice condition save for a couple of light surface scratches on top. This unit sat in a basement unused for long period of time and was quite dirty when I found it.
Thus the reason I am selling as is shown. And I'm sure you'll want to have a peek at the caps, lamps, etc. I let it play for a while and by the time The Hollies Long Cool Woman came on this receiver was cranking. This is a Nivico 5030U am/fm stereo receiver which built like tank.
Powered it on and upon adjusting the selector to FM Auto tuning dial came life.
